HR Business Partner
to join the Operations team of a leading multinational company — someone who combines a strong legal and labor relations background with empathy, resilience, and a hands-on mindset.

About the Role

You will be the HR point of reference at the Madrid factory, supporting production and operations teams in all people-related matters. Reporting to the HR Manager locally, and functionally to the EMEA HR Operations team, you'll play a key role in implementing processes, driving engagement, and ensuring alignment with global standards.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with Operations leadership to understand business needs and deliver effective HR solutions.
  • Managing
    employee relations
    and acting as the main contact with the works council and union representatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with Spanish labor law, health & safety standards, and internal HR policies.
  • Driving workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for factory roles.
  • Supporting
    performance management, talent development
    , and leadership training for shift and line managers.
  • Promoting a safe, collaborative, and high-performance culture.
  • Leading HR processes such as contracts, timekeeping, documentation, and coordination with payroll.
  • Acting as a change agent in ongoing organizational and process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Finance and other business teams to align people initiatives with company priorities.
  • Monitoring key HR metrics
    to evaluate process effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.

Who You Are

You're a confident and empathetic HR professional who thrives in industrial settings and knows how to balance people focus with operational demands.

You're proactive, pragmatic, and ready to take ownership in a factory environment where there's room to build and improve.

We're looking for:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Law, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience
    , including
    at least 2 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    Spanish labor law
    and proven experience managing
    works councils or union negotiations
    .
  • Previous experience in a
    multinational context
    .
  • Advanced English
    – able to manage conversations and reporting with international stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on attitude, flexibility to adapt to factory schedules, and ability to handle conflict constructively.
