We are currently looking for an HR Payroll Assistant to join our People Team in Barcelona.

This is an internship role aimed at students currently pursuing a degree in Labour Relations, Law, or a similar field at a Catalan university.

Requirements

As an HR Payroll Assistant, you will support the daily operations of the Payroll and HR Administration area:

  • Assist in preparing and verifying data for payroll processing.
  • Review and update information related to absences, vacations, sick leaves, and other incidents.
  • Manage employment documentation related to payroll (contracts, amendments, terminations).
  • Support data reconciliation between internal systems and external providers.
  • Handle payroll and benefits-related queries in line with internal procedures and applicable labour law.
  • Collaborate on internal department projects as needed.

What skills & experience will you bring to us?

  • Currently studying Labour Relations, Law, or a similar degree at a Catalan university. If you are studying a master's degree in this field, you are also welcome to apply, provided you hold a previous HR/Law degree from a Spanish university.
  • Able to sign an internship agreement with your university.
  • Living in Barcelona or within commuting distance.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of labour law and payroll processes (desirable but not mandatory).
  • Previous experience is a plus, but not required. What you do need is motivation and a willingness to learn quickly
