About the role:
As a Global Payroll Specialist, you'll play a key role in shaping seamless HR operations, managing payroll, employee data, and benefits, all while ensuring compliance and enhancing the employee experience.
What will be your impact:
- Run monthly payroll for Spain, France, UK, and Germany, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on-time delivery.
- Coordinate payroll with EOR partners in the US and APAC.
- Validate monthly payroll inputs (hires, exits, changes, variables, benefits, leaves).
- Reconcile payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and manage employee payroll queries.
- Ensure compliance with local labor regulations, tax requirements, and social security obligations.
- Manage relationships and SLAs with payroll vendors and EOR partners.
- Keep HRIS and payroll data accurate and up to date.
- Support Finance with payroll reports, audits, and month-end processes.
- Continuously improve payroll processes and documentation.
You would be great fit if you have:
- Experience in HR operations and payroll, ideally for 200+ employees in Spain and France
- Skilled in payroll cycle management, bonuses, leave tracking, and reporting.
- Proficient with HRIS, payroll tools (e.g., Personio, PayFit), and Google Sheets.
- Expertise in improving HR processes.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, French is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws in Spain and France; familiarity with other European and US laws is an advantage.
