We are looking for a HR BUSINESS PARTNER who is collaborative, impactive and innovative to join our team in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The HR generalist will be reporting to the General Manager, and have full responsibility on Amuse's HR matters, including but not limited to recruitment, training, payroll, employee relations, talent development, and outsourcing.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader who can build and maintain strong relationships with employees, managers, and stakeholders, and can navigate complex HR issues with professionalism and discretion.

/ YOUR ROLE:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. Facilitate organizational change in an agile and flexible manner, while keeping the studio's overall goals in mind.
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with the management team, leads, and employees, providing guidance and support on HR matters.
  • Lead all HR operational tasks, including but not limited to: recruitment, on-boarding, off-boarding, training, payroll, legal-labor advice, performance management…
  • Process transactions in HR systems such as new hires and personnel actions, promotions, terminations, organizational changes, etc. through required workflow process.
  • Lead the recruitment process for all positions within the company. Maintain an active recruitment and outsourcing funnel according to company needs. Filter candidates through CV screening and 1st interview rounds.
  • Develop and implement strong talent retention and development programs, to ensure a high-performing workforce.
  • Ensure application and assist with the interpretation of company policies, values, missions and procedures to employees and Management.

/ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Solid understanding of labor laws, demonstrated sensibility for handling confidential information, and critical thinking.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Team oriented, self-starter and autonomous. Structured and organized. Ability to adapt quickly and be flexible in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the animation, film, or entertainment industry is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word and analytical skills.

/ GENERAL INFORMATION:

  • Office-based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.
  • Working shift: Monday to Thursday 08.00 to 16.00, Friday 08.00 to 14.00.
  • Contract type: permanent.
