This is a foundational role: you won't just be iterating on a mature product; instead, you'll be crafting the end-to-end design vision, process and strategy for one of Finom's most critical product verticals (such as Core Banking, AI Accounting, or Growth).

This is an opportunity to build a world-class user experience that directly impacts tens of thousands of customers at exactly the right moment in our growth.

You'll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Data and Leadership, embedding design excellence into our strategy, roadmaps and everyday decisions.

• Lead and mentor a small squad of talented designers.
• Translate complex product problems into clear, elegant, and scalable design solutions.
• Co-create design and product strategy aligned with company goals like growing ARPAU, improving retention, and scaling AI-driven features.
• Raise the quality bar across all touchpoints: flows, UI, microcopy, and accessibility.
• Partner closely with AI, Analytics and Brand teams to embed intelligence and consistency across the product.
• Support strategic initiatives such as modular pricing UX, AI Copilot design, onboarding transformation, and new monetization mechanics.

• You're an experienced product design leader with 6+ years in product design, with at least 2 years in a lead or team-building role.
• You've designed complex SaaS or fintech products, ideally within multi-feature platforms.
• You're comfortable in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, with a proven ability to drive clarity and scale design processes without needing perfect structure.
• A strong UX craft and system thinking are fundamental to your approach. You can zoom out to map an entire user journey and zoom in to fine-tune a dropdown.
• You're pragmatic and action-oriented, with experience working with data-driven teams and integrating continuous feedback loops (e.g., behavior tracking, in-product surveys).
• You're a great communicator—you can influence product and company direction through design rationale and strong cross-functional alignment.

• Experience in AI-powered UX or designing sophisticated financial tools for freelancers and SMBs (B2B fintech).
