Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer and other types of solid cancers.

Device Support Specialist, Madrid
We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Device Support Specialist to join our team If you have a knack for technology, a passion for patient care, and a desire to make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.

Your responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct patient visits every 4 weeks (2 weeks for clinical patients), organizing all necessary materials.
  • Provide comprehensive training and refresher courses for all Novocure medical devices to patients and their families.
  • Regularly check therapy devices, replace defective components, and troubleshoot equipment issues at patients' homes.
  • Manage device inventory, log patient interactions in the database, and oversee logistic orders and returns.

Your profile:

  • Completed training/education in health care.
  • Professional experience in patient care.
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and a positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to travel on a regular basis with a company car (valid driving license required).
  • Good understanding of Spanish and English, strongly preferred a good understanding of Portuguese.
