As we scale in the both markets, we're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated intern to join our HR team and gain hands-on experience in people operations within a dynamic tech startup environment.

The Role

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Intern who is passionate about technology and eager to learn about HR operations in a startup environment. You'll work closely with the HR Generalist and HR Director, supporting various HR functions and gaining valuable experience in tech talent acquisition, employee engagement, and HR administration. Key Responsibilities

Tech Talent Acquisition Support

• Assist with sourcing candidates for technical roles through job boards, LinkedIn, and other recruitment channels
• Support interview scheduling and candidate communication throughout the recruitment process
• Help maintain applicant tracking systems and update candidate records
• Learn about technical roles (AI/ML engineers, data scientists, developers) and their requirements
• Participate in candidate screening and initial outreach activities under supervision

HR Operations & Administration

• Support employee onboarding processes and help prepare welcome materials
• Assist with maintaining employee records and HR documentation
• Help with time-off tracking and basic administrative tasks
• Learn about Mexican labor laws and HR compliance requirements
• Assist with data entry and HRIS system updates

Employee Relations & Engagement

• Support the coordination of employee engagement initiatives and company culture activities
• Help organize team events, workshops, and internal communications
• Assist with employee surveys and feedback collection
• Learn about employee relations best practices and conflict resolution

HR Projects & Learning Opportunities

• Participate in HR improvement projects and process optimization initiatives
• Support HR analytics by helping collect and organize data for reporting
• Assist with training and development program coordination
• Shadow HR team members to learn about various HR functions
• Work on special projects as assigned to develop HR skills and knowledge

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
• Strong interest in HR and people operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in technology, AI, or startup environments
• Previous internship or volunteer experience in HR or related fields
• Basic knowledge of LinkedIn and social media platforms for recruiting
• Familiarity with basic HR concepts and practices
