Who are we?

Quantum computing will change the world , but with the current approaches, the true impact of conventional gate-based quantum computers lies at least a decade away. We, at Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech SL, aim to offer
quantum advantage now,
in a much shorter time frame, to solve industry-critical problems, specifically in optimization, machine learning and quantum simulation.

Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech SL is a
full-stack start-up
that spun off from the Barcelona Supercomputer Center (BSC), the University of Barcelona (UB), and the Institute of High-Energy Physics (IFAE). It started operations in 2020 with the support of international customer multi-year contracts.

Our integrated hardware, software & application teams focus on the development of quantum analog solutions available on the cloud and on premise, based in superconducting qubit technology. It is Qilimanjaro's goal to
maximize quantum advantage with the current technology capabilities
. For that, we concentrate our innovation on the co-design of next-generation app-specific analog quantum processors (QASIC) with high-quality qubits, which can bypass some of the demanding requirements of quantum error correction and can therefore be faster-to-market than digital solutions.

What's more, we have brought together a great and diverse team of scientists with extensive training, knowledge, and experience from international labs such as MIT, Caltech, Waterloo in Toronto, Stony Brook, ETH Zurich, and TU Delft.

The impact you will have

You will be part of the quantum computing revolution. You will help us create the people department of a deeptech start-up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administrative
  management of departmental documentation.
• Help maintain employee records and ensure
  data accuracy
  in HR systems.
• Participate in the on-boarding of new employees.
• Coordinate the design of processes and practices
  
• Assist in the
  recruiting process
  , including posting of vacancies, screening resumes and coordinating interviews.
• Participate in the creation of the start-up culture
  

Minimum requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
