About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading international apparel manufacturer with a creative studio based in Barcelona. The company designs and develops high-quality menswear outerwear collections for some of Europe's and America's most influential fashion brands. This role offers the chance to join an innovative and fast-growing design hub, working closely with global clients, production teams, and sourcing partners across Europe and Asia. You'll be part of a creative environment that blends trend-driven design, technical expertise, and sustainable production.
Your Mission
As a Senior Menswear Outerwear Designer, you'll lead the creative process for jackets, coats, and trousers — from trend research to final samples — ensuring every collection aligns with client expectations, market trends, and production capabilities.
You will also contribute to cross-category projects and collaborate closely with product development and sourcing teams internationally.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop outerwear and trousers collections for menswear.
- Research global fashion trends, materials, and fabric innovations.
- Create technical drawings and complete tech packs through to final samples.
- Select fabrics, trims, and colors, ensuring excellence in fit and construction.
- Work closely with development and sourcing teams across Europe and Asia.
- Present collections to international clients and manage feedback and revisions.
- Attend trade fairs, supplier visits, and trend research trips.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Fashion Design or related disciplines.
- 8–10 years of design experience for European or international brands.
- Proven expertise in menswear outerwear and strong understanding of trousers.
- Technical knowledge of synthetics, cottons, and washed fabrics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (CLO 3D or Browzwear a plus).
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) and Spanish.
- Highly creative, organized, and solution-oriented, able to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Based in Barcelona or willing to relocate.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (Europe and Asia).
Nice to Have
- Experience collaborating with Asian production partners (Bangladesh, China, etc.).
- Familiarity with AI-assisted or 3D design tools.
- Confidence in presenting collections to clients and stakeholders.
- Interest in long-term growth within an international company.
