We are looking for a Technical Specialist with deep expertise in Data Platforms, Governance and Data Spaces to support our sales organization and drive customer success.

This role bridges the gap between business needs and technology solutions, combining strong technical acumen with excellent customer engagement skills.

  • Key Responsibilities o Partner with account executives to qualify opportunities, understand client requirements, and position tailored solutions. 
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations, demos, and workshops to customers and partners.
  • Support RFP/RFI responses with clear, customer-aligned technical input.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in modern cloud data platforms, Data Governance and Data Spaces o Serve as the trusted advisor to customers, aligning data solutions with business outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in technical pre-sales, sales engineering, or solution consulting, ideally in data and analytics.
  • Strong expertise in cloud-native data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and compliance-driven solutions.
  • Understanding of data spaces / data sharing ecosystems and their role in cross-organization collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into business value propositions.
  • Proven track record of working directly with clients in sales or consulting engagements.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of emerging standards in data spaces (e.g., Gaia-X, IDSA, interoperability frameworks).
  • Certifications in cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake).
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, etc.) impacting data management.
