GRI is a leading specialty tire producer in Sri Lanka. We have been supplying tires to more than 100 countries worldwide since 2002. GRI has sales offices in the United States, Europe and Australia. We produce high-performance tires for Agriculture, Material Handling, and Construction vehicles.

We are seeking a
Distribution Center Manager – Spain
to lead and optimize our Distribution Center operations and unlock the full commercial potential of the Material Handling business across Spain.

This senior leadership role requires strong operational expertise, commercial acumen, financial discipline, and people leadership capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving performance excellence while implementing GRI's global strategy, standards, and leadership values across the Iberian region.

Essential Attributes:

  • Business & Operational Leadership -
    Lead the distribution center with full P&L ownership, deliver accurate budgets and forecasts, drive continuous improvement, and ensure operational excellence. Implement robust stock planning, maintain timely reporting aligned with GRI standards, and optimize working capital and payment processes.
  • People & Culture Development -
    Cultivate a performance-driven culture through the PMS system, strengthen organizational capability, and oversee talent development. Promote continuous improvement, Health & Safety, and ensure teams are well trained, motivated, coached, and aligned with company policies and customer service expectations.
  • Sales, Marketing & Customer Engagement -
    Enhance market competitiveness through strong customer, market, and competitor insights, developing customer-centric sales and pricing strategies. Ensure effective complaint resolution, lead digital transformation initiatives through Group systems, and drive the digitalization of service processes to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Strategy & Growth
  • Develop and execute the Iberia business strategy in alignment with GRI's global direction. Drive sustainable long-term value creation, support strategic initiatives, lead market entry efforts, and leverage market intelligence trends, pricing, competitors, and customer needs to guide commercial and strategic decisions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 10+ years in management roles with operational and commercial responsibilities.
  • Prior experience in managing a legacy company or transitioning family-owned businesses to a corporate model is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with the Iberia market; multilingual capability in Spanish and English is a plus.
