About the Role:

Job Description:

Enfinity Global is looking for a Senior Analyst - Power Markets with minimum 3 years of experience who will be responsible for conducting detailed US market research & analysis, performing production cost modelling, utilizing analytical skills to provide insights to clients, and communicating those insights effectively.

The candidate should have a deep knowledge of power markets with a special focus on solar and battery aspects. He/she will be also in coordination with other departments like land origination, power systems and offtake.

Additionally, the candidate will be involved in day-to-day market research. This opportunity has a strong modelling, research and analysis components and candidates will be managing the same in cooperation with other members of the teams based in India and the US.

Our final candidate will require research capabilities, verbal and written communication skills, a high level of proactivity, and be comfortable working in a very dynamic environment and with highly expansive growth strategies.

Key responsibilities:

·     Energy markets modelling – Dataset updating & Simulation

·     Extensive market research & Report writing

·     BESS & Solar Prospecting strategy

·     AI & Automation

Qualifications & experience:

·     Minimum 3 years of experience in the US Power Markets such as ERCOT, MISO, SPP, SERC, WECC & PJM.

·     Proficiency in PROMOD, PLEXOS, or other production cost modeling software is must.

·     Experience in U.S. utility market research, including IRP (Integrated Resource Plan) reviews.

·     Experience with Python automation for pre/post-processing and API integration.

·     Strong ability to set, manage, and track multiple priorities with attention to detail.

·     Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

·     Comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

·     Fluent in English, with strong command of professional vocabulary.

·     A creative thinker who seeks innovative approaches to problem-solving.

·     Hands-on mentality with a strong focus on execution.

·     Demonstrated ownership mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
