Consultant for our Learning & Development department
, whose main mission is to
improve the system and personal growth:

  • Through participation in the global Learning & Development department, in the creation of development programs that support the growth strategy of the business worldwide. Implementation of these development programmes, adapting and localising the programmes and contents according to the main trends and current training needs of the main stakeholders to whom they are addressed:
  • Franchisees and their Supervisors
  • Management and staff of franchising organizations and own restaurants
  • Directors, Managers and
    Corporate employees
  • Franchised and/or "
    next generation
    " candidates

What's the purpose of this role:

  • Facilitate face-to-face and virtual training that motivates, develops skills, and improves people's performance and contribution. Make and pass certifications associated with each program.
  • Update current training content and actively participate in the creation of new McDonald's development programs globally and locally.
  • Demonstrate the leadership behaviors associated with our competency model for leaders and the application of McDonald's values in the performance of their daily functions.
  • Build relationships, manage requests, and share feedback with stakeholders related to McDonald's areas of training and development: corporate staff, franchisees, franchise administrative staff, restaurant management, and suppliers.
  • Participate in meetings, work sessions and project management locally and globally localizing and translating them for our market when necessary.
  • Proactively collaborate within the L&D team to achieve the goals set out in the annual plan.
  • Manage the applications and digital tools of the Learning and Development department.
  • Responsible for the logistics of the courses and active collaboration in the strategic identification of markets for the delivery of "itinerant courses" (outside Madrid) positively impacting the cost optimization of organizations.
  • Creation, implementation and delivery of training actions specific to the Spanish market
  • Constant individual updating on training trends and
    cross training
    with the other L&D consultants in the part in which he is "Market Content Owner".
  • Assume responsibility as "Content Owner" of the assigned training itinerary:
  • Manage translation and localization in the market through the identification of content and tools that will be applied in the local market.
  • Completion of courses both in the office and itinerant and online.
  • Ensure location and resources to deliver courses.
  • Comply with legal implications (Bonus, PRL, DEI).
  • Financial management of the expenses derived from each training action to avoid negative impacts both on the department's G&A and on that of the organizations.
  • Analyze results of course satisfaction surveys and subsequent implementation of improvement actions.

Requirements:

  • Experience of at least 3 years as a training consultant, both teaching and creating and/or designing training actions.
  • University studies and qualifications will be valued, especially those related to disciplines of educational sciences, psychology, pedagogy, English philology and social sciences.   • English: Ability to maintain fluent conversations, read and translate documents, minimum C1.
  • Knowledge of other languages will be an asset.
  • Experience in communication or design of communication plans for training actions will be highly valued.
