Offer Description

Description: The Energy Systems Analytics research department is looking for an energy research eager candidate to join the group. The candidate will be asked to perform the following tasks:

  • Tosupport the set up and initial development of AI driven data structure for energy modelling focused on energy communities
  • To set up the process for the collection of technical, economic, social, environmental, and regulatory data from public statistics, open datasets, and literature related to energy communities' energy consumption and demand.
  • To give support to the dissemination activities related to the projects where he/she will be involved (scientific papers writing, conference participation,..)

Requirements

Research Field Engineering Education Level Bachelor Degree or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications

  • Proven experience(>2 years)in optimisationinmodellinginmulti-energy carriersapplied to buildingsand other assets (EV, renewable energy, storage,..)
  • ExcellentknowledgeofPython,ML, SQL
  • SpokenandwritingcapabilitiesinSpanish,CatalanandEnglish Preferred:
  • Participationasauthororco-authorinscientificpapersrelatedtothetopic
  • Conferencesparticipationinrelatedtopics
  • Previousexperienceinparticipatinginsimilarprojects(NationalorEuropean)relatedtoenergymodelling
