At CORUS , an ALTEN company, we are looking for an AI Engineer to join our team for an international insurance project.

Location:
Barcelona (1 day per week at the office). You will: Design, build and own Python/FastAPI backend services and REST APIs, from first commit to production. Implement AI agent workflows that run inside real insurance processes. Integrate LLM capabilities into application features, including RAG pipelines, tool-calling agents and multi-agent systems. Connect and maintain integrations with internal and external data sources and third-party APIs. Take end-to-end ownership of features: you scope, build, ship and fix. Contribute to architecture decisions, your opinion matters here. You should have: 2-4 years of professional experience building backend services. You have shipped production code and know what maintaining it means. Strong Python: you design service architectures, handle errors properly, and write code other people can read. Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices patterns, GIT workflows and docker. Experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure or AWS). Fluent English (C1). All documentation, code reviews and stakeholder communication is in English. What do
