About The JobAllianz Technology's Spain Hub AI & IT Transformation team is scaling the shift from individual tool adoption to a fully AI-driven, secure-by-design way of building and running software across a large engineering community. We are looking for a Technologist with broad technical credibility and a strong voice. Someone who can set direction across software development, AI-assisted engineering, DevOps, cloud, data & analytics, AI/ML, and security, and who is equally comfortable influencing an executive room, coaching a Tech Lead, or speaking at an external conference. This is a catalyst role embedded in an IT transformation team: you don't own delivery, you connect global initiatives with local Hub teams, build conviction through thought leadership and enablement, and multiply impact through others rather than through your own hands-on output.
What you doAct as a thought leader and public voice for the Hub's technical transformation, representing Allianz Technology Spain Hub at internal forums and external events (conferences, meetups, partner summits) on AI-assisted engineering, cloud, and secure-by-design practices.
Connect global initiatives and teams (e.g. AI Factory) with local Hub teams, translating global strategy, tooling, and standards into practical adoption paths for Tech Leads and engineering teams on the ground, and feeding local realities and needs back into the global conversation.
Shape and pilot AI-driven SDLC / spec-driven development (SDD) patterns (e.g. with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, MCP) across planning, coding, testing, and deployment, and champion their adoption through architecture guidance, reference designs, and design reviews rather than building them yourself end to end.
Influence architecture direction for full-stack and cloud-native modernization on AWS and Azure by advising teams, connecting with Enterprise Architecture, and enabling teams to design and deliver, rather than delivering in their place.
Advocate for and help shape DevOps/DevSecOps direction (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, container/Kubernetes platforms, security gates, secure-by-design workflows) across Hub service teams, working through Platform Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, and Tech Leads to drive adoption.
Act as a bridge between Platform Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, and day-to-day development reality: help converge and align the toolchain (CI/CD, API management, observability, MCP servers/catalog) so teams have one clear, well-governed path.
Run "art of the possible" workshops, talks, and hands-on enablement sessions on AI-assisted development, cloud, and secure architecture, coaching Tech Leads and building grassroots advocacy for adoption within their own teams.
Champion the evolution of Communities of Practice and Circles, converting them into a genuine technical authority, curating reusable assets, reference architectures, and best-practice content, and giving these communities a credible external and internal voice.
Track and report adoption and impact of these initiatives (e.g. AI-enabled SDLC coverage, DORA metrics, security posture, cloud cost/governance), feeding insights back into their roadmaps.
What you bringProven track record as a senior/principal Solutions Architect or technical leader with broad, credible expertise across full-stack, cloud, DevOps/security, and data/AI-ML, strong enough to set direction and be trusted by specialists, without needing to personally deliver the implementation.
Demonstrated thought leadership and public speaking ability: experience presenting at conferences, meetups, or large internal forums, writing technical content, or otherwise building a credible external and internal voice in a technical domain.
Strong ability to influence and drive adoption without formal authority: comfortable operating through persuasion, coaching, and credibility across Tech Leads, Service Owners, and teams that don't report to you.
Experience connecting global initiatives, standards, or programs with local/regional teams: translating strategy into locally relevant action, and surfacing local needs and feedback upward and outward.
Solid grounding in application and cloud security, and in DevOps/DevSecOps practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, container/Kubernetes platforms, security automation), enough to set direction and evaluate trade-offs, even when not personally implementing them.
Practical fluency with AI coding assistants and agentic development tools (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, MCP-based tooling), and working knowledge of LLM/AI-ML fundamentals, enough to design AI-driven workflows and evaluate AI/ML use cases credibly.7+ years in software engineering/architecture roles spanning at least three of the following: full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, DevOps/security, or data & analytics/AI-ML, including recent exposure to AI-assisted development practices.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work ex
