As a Sustainability Executive in our team, you will have the opportunity to manage the topics relating to environmental, health & safety in a multinational company, with a dynamic team in an excellent working environment.
The role of Sustainability Executive is to drive the Sustainability strategy, policies & Standards and implementation across the Iberia cluster, providing thought leadership, counsel, advice and support to the End Markets Line Managers & different Functions teams, that enables the seamless execution, in order to ensure that BAT Group protects its corporate reputation, license to operate and access to resources, and it is recognized as one of the most advanced in terms of sustainability standards and processes.
The role is also jointly responsible for building robust functional capability, knowledge, and skills within the Cluster to support the overall delivery of the group’s strategy and enable the business to remain competitive and profitable sustainable.
The role provides leadership of the sustainability strategy, polices and standards and drives performance across the cluster in support of Global targets.

key responsibilities
will include:Drive ESG performance across the cluster, ensuring delivery of corporate sustainability commitments aligned with Ambition 2030.
Develop and implement standardized cluster ESG deployment plans that optimize costs and environmental performance.
Ensure full compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards, regulations, and assessment requirements.
Maintain ESG and EHS management systems, delivering accurate and timely sustainability reporting and KPI analysis.
Lead sustainability initiatives and projects, including waste reduction, water recycling, green fleet transition, and driving safety improvements.
Build sustainability awareness and capability through training, coaching, and employee engagement programs.
Identify, assess, and mitigate environmental and health & safety risks while driving continuous improvement across processes and operations.
Serve as the cluster ESG focal point, collaborating with regional teams and external stakeholders to shape sustainability strategies, policies, and best practices.
Comply and implement activities in accordance with the rules of laws and regulations relating to environmental protection, safety at work and fire protection, and internal EHS or Sustainability standards and procedures.
What are we looking for?Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills in international business environments.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong analytical/reporting capabilities.
Bachelor’s degree holder with knowledge of Sustainability and/or Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) practices.1-3 years of experience in Sustainability, EHS, Operations, or a related role within a multinational organization.
Proven ability to work effectively in multicultural, matrix organizations and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Proactive, self-driven, and committed to delivering high-quality sustainability services and outcomes.
Strong multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Highly professional team player who maintains confidentiality and builds trusted relationships across the organization.
