Business & Travel Shared Services Generalist

The Business & Travel Shared Services (BTSS) Specialist is an intermediate-level professional responsible for providing support to corporate services functions to ensure operational productivity and efficiency, in close co-ordination with the relevant regional SME’s and Country Head. - BTSS is a global service organization that provides a variety of core products and services to the business. These comprise of Archiving, Mail & Distribution, Managed Print Services, Office Supplies & Stationery, Marketing & Transactional Print, Global Travel, Corporate Card Program, Wheels Program & Ground Transportation. - BTSS also is often responsible for other local country and Business Partner Services (BPS) which vary from country to country, including some Global Hospitality Services and Resource Management Organization (RMO) related responsibilities etc. **Key Responsibilities**: **Strategy**: - Support the BTSS Country Manager in the execution of the BTSS global strategy - Identify continuous improvement initiatives that will lead to cost savings - Be aware of the values and ethics of the organization **Financial Management**: - Support the BTSS Country Manager with the financial management. - Direct participation of important projects - Assist the Country Manager in ensuring adherence to the country financial budget while providing explanation on monthly variances **Operations Management**: - Ensure efficient delivery of BTSS services in country - Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal clients - Support in local daily operational BTSS core services and BPS. - Management of operational risk and control utilising key performance indicators and Service Excellence and Continuous Process Improvement techniques - Ensure and maintain good relationships and cooperation with peers, other local or regional units, top management, vendors and partners - Actively participate in BTSS country meetings and calls where required and other applicable BTSS products activities. - Participation on regular Third-party meetings - Act as back-up to the Country Manager during annual leave periods / as and when required and effectively manage the team during these periods - Seek best practices within regional/global teams and share with the local team - Escalation of issues as appropriate - Act as BAO (Business Activity Owner) for selected BTSS relationships. - Support in one-CSS (Citi Shared Services) delivery model and projects with BTSS partners. **Qualifications**: - 2 years of relevant experience in relation to some of the services for which this position is responsible. - Reasonable demonstrable competence in responsible services. - Experience in a large financial company with corporate culture. - Bachelor’s / master’s degree. **Skills**: - Operational experience in at least one of BTSS core and BPS products and service delivery - Understanding of BTSS products, services, strategy and points of escalation - Vendor Management experience - Identify & leverage best practices for continuous process improvements & re-engineering - Multi-tasking and innovative personality. - Strong reporting experience & skills - Experience in expense management & cost reduction - Experience of risk & control requirements in a banking environment - Strong customer service delivery background - Proficiency in Microsoft Applications including Excel data analytics. - Written & spoken English - **Job Family Group**: Corporate Services - **Job Family**: General Services - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
