**The opportunity**
We're currently looking for a Head of Operations to join our Spain team and help shape the future of electric mobility. In this role, you will lead operational excellence, logistics, and distribution while creating a seamless customer experience across the Spanish market. With a focus on delivering a premium customer journey, you’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to optimise processes and drive results.

This position is based in Madrid, Spain, with flexibility for a hybrid work model combining remote and in-person collaboration. We believe in a balanced approach - blending focused individual work with face-to-face collaboration to foster innovation and efficiency.
**The responsibilities**
In this role, you will be expected to lead, optimise, and innovate the Operations team in Spain, ensuring a world-class customer experience and driving growth in our sales model. As part of the management team, you will play a key role in the following areas:
- Operations, distribution, and logistics management: Ensure seamless stock management, logistics flows, and ground operations while continuously improving the customer journey from order to delivery for B2C, B2B, and Fleet customers
- Network management: Oversee retail partnerships and Polestar Spaces, ensuring brand consistency, compliance, and network expansion strategy
- Performance optimisation: Define and monitor KPIs to enhance customer service, delivery operations, and overall financial performance
- Partner relationship management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with network partners, acting as the key contact for strategic operational matters
- Strategic planning and team leadership: Coordinate training programs for dealership teams in areas such as sales, after-sales, and customer service, and promote best practices across the network

In addition to your personal attributes, you will need the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven leadership experience in operations, logistics, and customer experience management, ideally within the automotive industry
- Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and verbal; Portuguese is a plus
- Experience in network management and retail partnerships, with a focus on compliance, performance improvement, and expansion strategies
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure
- A university degree is preferred, with solid administrative and business acumen
