**Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (SCIB) is looking for a Responsible of GDF Product Development based in our Boadilla del Monte office.**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As a **Responsible of GDF Product Development, **you will lead a strategic plan to promote new products, work on the industrialization the GDF origination businesses, and contribute to the digital cultural shift on the department, and the innovation agenda of the area

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Lead the strategic development agenda: identify and develop new product opportunities and industrialization initiatives for the GDF business globally. Lead internal pitches to promote initiatives, products or projects and prepare materials including presentations for these meetings
- Search for and solve gaps (process, system, both) in current product lines or new products in the process of being launched
- Define the product development strategy for the GDF franchise
- Manage new products initiatives roadmaps as well as different teams involved in product design, development and testing (from inception to delivery)
- Operational structuring: have a view on how to make a certain product viable as a one off or as a set of automated processes front to back, being pragmatic on the requests to the support areas
- Support the area to achieve budget, growth and capital savings objectives globally
- Lead its day-to-day monitoring of the business and projects in the most cost effective and time efficient manner
- Originate new initiatives to improve the visibility of the product development area internally. Lead/arrange/collaborate in initiatives to reduce risk weighted assets

EXPERIENCE
- Experience in Origination, Syndicate or Credit Risk teams is a must
- Also, +12-year Product Development experience in a relevant sector, or +8-year consulting experience plus +6-year Product Development experience in the financial market
- Experience in leading/coordinating projects internationally

EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Business, Economics.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English. Any other are optional and a plus.
- Good understanding of DCM and other SL related ancillary business products (Rates, transactions banking ) is a plus.
- Good understanding of the capital requirement regulation and its implications in loans/credit products
- IT and technical skills are a plus.
