EHS Technician

**YOUR TASKS**

Become a part of our EH&S Team at our location in Alcalá de Henares - we are responsible for EH&S area in the Alcalá de Henares plant. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a EHS Manager (M/F/d) with the following responsibilities:

- Prepare and keep updated the Occupational Risk Prevention Plan, the Self-Protection Plan and emergencies, in accordance with current legislation and the group's internal regulations to ensure the safety of people and facilities
- Evaluate the modifications made to products, production processes and facilities to guarantee that the changes made comply with the required safety regulations
- Identify, define, promote and execute when necessary, the training plan on occupational and environmental risks to comply with legislation and ensure the safety and health of employees
- Analyze, investigate, and report accidents/incidents that occur to know the causes and take corrective and preventive measures
- Coordinate business activities with external companies to ensure the safety and health of these personnel in accordance with current legislation
- Carry out the management of waste generated in the factory for its correct treatment by authorized companies, informing the Administration of the waste generated, water consumption
- Monitor and control the ISO14001 certification to guarantee environmental standards (for example emission, water control, noise)
- Compile the information and present it to the competent Administration to renew the environmental license
- Coordinate the porter staff and external suppliers to guarantee the correct fulfillment of their functions
- Carry out the management of relationships with the Administration, both regional and local, to guarantee compliance with environmental requirements
- Advise company personnel on safety, health and environmental matters in order to comply with safety and hygiene regulations
- Compile and study legislative changes regarding ORP, Hygiene, Safety and the environment in order to be up to date on legal matters
- Coordinate and control so that the SPA meets the annual plan and the objectives set for it

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Higher ORP technician with the three specialties (Work, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics)
- Good communication skills both verbal and written in English and Spanish
- Sound knowledge of the environment (ISO 9001, waste management)
- Experience in the industrial sector with knowledge of compliance and environmental requirements
