Requisition ID: 3084 Location: Santiago de Compostela, ES Region: ES Work regime: Full-Time Kind of contract: Open Ended Contract You play a key role in our mission to treat patients and fight cancer As a Proton Therapy Service Technician, you are responsible for operation, maintenance and installation activities on the Proton Therapy Centre. Challenges we trust you with Maintaining and troubleshooting the equipment Operating the system and providing technical support to the medical staff during patient treatment and clinical operations Ensuring the client requirements are met in terms of technical performance, timing and safety Training customers Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment (shift work) Upgrading and improving the system in collaboration with the R&D (Research and Development) and other departments What we value You have: A Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or equivalent experience A sound experience in electronics/electrical system troubleshooting, mechanical system design and repair Technical knowledge of cooling systems, vacuum systems, PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controller) regulation loops, drivers, sensors, electric motors, positioning equipment, high and low voltage equipment The ability to troubleshoot complex system issues Knowledge of local EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations Good knowledge of English And you also are: Able to follow procedures and deliver on strict deadlines Analytical, with good troubleshooting skills, able to identify root cause of issues Willing to share your knowledge in your area of expertise A team player with strong interpersonal skills A flexible person, willing to work in rotating shifts and weekends Life at IBA At IBA, we value creativity, innovation, and a commitment to excellence.
