EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union and Europe's largest network for transport innovation in cities.

Our mission is to accelerate change towards a sustainable model of urban mobility and liveable urban spaces. With its department Impact Ventures, EIT Urban Mobility aims to become the reference impact investor in urban mobility start-ups.

**Be part of a team where you will perform the following tasks**:
Impact Ventures, EIT Urban Mobility’s investment arm, is looking for a **Strategic Alliances **Officer**,** to contribute to the planning, execution, and management of its start-up ecosystem strategic alliances.

The **Strategic Alliances **Officer** will report to the Strategic Alliances Head at Impact Ventures. The work processes will include collaborations with the Impact Ventures team, with other departments such as Communication and EU Affairs, Finance and Legal, as well as with our external Start-up Ecosystem Agents - existing, and future ones.

Tasks include:

- Engaging with ecosystem builders, accelerators, investors, and other key-players in the leading European start-up ecosystems.
- Assisting with market research, identifying leading start-up ecosystem players across. Europe, collecting wider business intelligence and take part of strategic mapping processes.
- Assisting with the administration of writing procurement, legal and operational documents.
- Monitoring the execution of each alliance, in terms of deliverables, budget and other operational and financial tasks.
- Supporting the design and delivery of start-up/investor events across Europe
- Writing PR and media content, speaker notes, and other content needed to promote the Strategic Alliances activity internally and externally.
- Supporting KPI and impact monitoring and measurement of the Strategic Alliances activity.

**What you will bring along the way**:
**Must-Have**:

- A relevant University Degree [1]
- Excellent written and spoken English (C1);
- **5-7 years of work experience** in the start-up ecosystem (accelerators / investment funds / start-up hubs, etc.);
- Proven high-level project management and communication skills;
- Experience working in an international multi-stakeholder organization with a complex structure; Knowledge about the start-ups and entrepreneurial ecosystem;

**Nice-To-Have**:

- Any other EU languages are a plus.
- Experience working in an EU body performing similar tasks is an advantage.

Kindly note that this position is based in **Barcelona.**

This is a **permanent and full-time position**, with possibility to homework up to 2 days a week.
