We are looking for a **Team Lead - Project Management **to support the company in a hyper-growth phase. In this role, you will be in a unique position to work directly with Sunhero’s founders and the company’s leadership to build and scale the Project Management Team and create the structures for growth. You will be the first person in this role and will play an active role in shaping the future of our operations and the company at large. To be successful in this role you would need to have a solid track record of building and scaling operations management teams, designing and implementing efficient processes, and thriving when looking for innovative solutions to complex operational problems. You are willing to roll up your sleeves and go the extra mile to make things happen. Previous experience in solar is helpful, but not required.
**Job Description**:
- Own and deliver the project management of residential solar installations, including permissions, installations, productivity, labor planning, and operational goals.
- Establish objectives and metrics for safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience and define improvement levers.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to optimize installation productivity and over exceed targets for customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Responsible for providing strategic level/long-term planning (3, 6, and 12 months out) including labor planning, rate forecasting, and peak season planning.
- Develop and scale the project management team by setting clear goals and ownership, regular feedback, and mentorship.
- Lead recruitment processes and develop internal career paths for your team.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver on organizational projects.
**Qualifications**:
- Problem-solving mindset.
- You are a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English.
- You are interested in joining an early-stage company and ready to roll up your sleeves
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy finding innovative solutions to challenging problems
- You have 7+ years of work experience in an operational or project manager role, including 3+ people management experience.
- You are motivated to have a positive impact on the planet and to change the way people think about energy production
