About the Role As an Engineering Team Lead, you'll manage a team of 4–6 software engineers, working closely with a Product Manager and Product Designer. You'll play a central role in driving your team's objectives, ensuring high-quality delivery, and fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and growth. While not expected to code full-time, you'll remain technically involved, contributing to architecture decisions, reviewing designs and pull requests, and guiding your team through complex technical challenges. Key Responsibilities Lead a squad of talented engineers, ensuring delivery excellence and alignment with business goals. Collaborate cross-functionally with product and design to build impactful solutions. Conduct code reviews, participate in architectural decisions, and promote best practices. Define and communicate clear, SMART objectives for your team. Drive your team's growth and engagement through 1:1s, mentoring, and feedback. Support recruitment and onboarding of new engineers. Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture. What We're Looking For 5+ years of professional experience in software development. Proven people management experience, ideally leading squads or feature teams. Strong knowledge of scalable and robust architecture patterns. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Experience delivering complex projects in fast-paced product environments. Proactive mindset: able to identify and solve problems before they escalate. Fintech experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
