We are looking for an
- **Engineering Projects Manager **based in
- **Barcelona**.**As Engineering Projects Manager, you will**:

- Lead the Engineering activities on capital projects and proposals (Sale of Gas/Sale of Equipment).
- Plan and direct all engineers and designers working on the projects to ensure completion of the projects as efficiently as possible.
- Evaluate and approve changes that substantially impact the scope, budget, or schedule of a project.
- Monitor progress and performance against the project schedule.
- Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
- Provide strategic direction when developing project budgets.
- Be capable of resolving and escalated issues arising from operations and resource constraints.
- Manage subordinate Project Engineers working on the different projects across Southern Europe Region.
- Be responsible for the execution of process plant projects from proposal through design and procurement to construction (and commissioning where applicable). Key deliverables being project cost, plant performance and achieving the safe to commission certificate for plants.
- Be responsible for safety performance of engineers in the department and subcontractors working on construction of process plant projects.

**You will have**:

- A high set of safety standards and pursues a culture of Safety and Quality that pervades all aspect of works.
- Engineering Degree.
- Min. 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Fluent Spanish and English.
- Proven coaching/leadership capabilities.
- Strong organizational, communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization.
- Strong track record in the management of detailed engineering activities of process plants.
- Experience on Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC), Industrial Gases or Petrochemical projects.
- Ability to bring teams together to achieve project targets and goals.
- Good commercial awareness with ability to manage change.
- Experience in process plant construction would be advantageous but should have spent considerable time at construction sites.
