Senior Electrical Engineer as Project Manager for Power System Studies (all genders) Full-time Mid-Senior level Consulting and Engineering Industries: Electric Power Transmission, Control, and Distribution and Energy Technology Join Fichtner, a leading independent engineering and consulting company supporting energy projects since 1922. We develop infrastructure for tomorrow in a dynamic, global environment. Perform power system studies and consulting projects – load flow, short circuit, stability, dynamic simulations. Assist in preparing proposals and resource planning. Plan and control project budgets. Master’s degree or higher in electrical power engineering or related field. Minimum eight years of professional experience as a project manager in power system studies (including load flow, short circuit, stability studies, dynamic simulations, harmonics, controller models, protection settings, HVDC simulation), grid expansion planning, EMC calculations, EMT studies, HVDC systems, master plan preparation, integration of renewable energies. Knowledge of power system analysis software such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, Integral, PSSE. Ability to work remotely in an international engineering team with colleagues mainly in Germany and customers worldwide. Business‑level fluency in English and confidence working in an international environment. Valid work permit for Spain mandatory. Openness to take responsibility from the start and thrive in a start‑up environment backed by a global company.
