Our lactic acid and derivatives plant In Spain, Montmeló (Barcelona), services all of our markets; Food, Biochemicals and Pharma. This site is labeled as an Innovation Plant within Corbion, meaning that this is often the first location to produce new products and implement new technologies. The Project Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of Corbion’s medium to large capital projects in the EU following the Corbion project protocol. Manage scope, schedule, costs and quality to deliver projects to support Corbion’s vision for growth and deliver intended investment returns. In this position of Project Manager, you will be part of our Engineering & Projects team reporting into the Engineering Team leader, and your responsibilities for this position will be: - Project management of CAPEX projects up to 5 m€ (civil works, mechanical, piping, electrical, control & automation) - Scoping, estimation, risk assessment, coordination and planning with different departments for its implementation - Initiate MOC workflow and close out after completion - Evaluate and mitigate/removal risks (Risk Management) - Supervision of contractor activities on site regarding PRL. Ensure Safety rules accomplishment. - Actively involved in the project design and propose project & process improvements - Final project documentation - Handover & Aftercare - Project Cost control - Project progress reporting (safety, financials, planning, risks). - Strong Safety awareness and leadership, About you - >5 years of experience involved in engineering project management in chemical, food or pharma manufacturing environment (civil works, mechanical, piping, electrical, control & automation) - Industrial or Chemical Engineering background - Experience in installation, erection or/and revamping of installations as project engineer, and project manager. Experience also in construction management is considered as a plus for the position - Accustomed to follow-up projects at field and precommissioning - Support to RTO for commissioning and its start-up - Accustomed to stablish relationships with suppliers of machinery and contractors (civil works, mechanical, piping, electrical, control & automation) - Autocad user level - 3D autoplant user level - SAP knowledge as user level is a plus for the position - Basic PRL certificate (50 h) - Good command of English (First certificate level) - Skills to plan, organize and establish priorities - Excellent communication skills - Proactive and autonomous behavior. - Hands-on & can-do attitude - Safety awareness - Experience in plant revamping is a plus - Experience in GMP validation processes is a plus **About Corbion** **_
