The Chemgineering Group is a global consulting and engineering company with branches in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Spain, Mexico, Poland and Serbia. As specialists for efficient processes, we design and implement demanding projects for various industries in the fields of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, fine chemicals, medical technology, cosmetics, vitamins, diagnostics and food.

We are looking for a project manager to join our engineering project management team in Spain.

**Your Tasks**:

- Management of projects throughout the project lifecycle, from design through construction management and to start-up / commissioning of facilities
- Coordination with and reporting to the project sponsor
- Independent management and control of projects throughout their life cycle
- Direct client management
- Implementation of quality processes in projects and document management
- Management of multi-disciplinary technical project teams

**Your Profile**:

- Preferred qualifications: chemical engineer, but industrial or mechanical engineers will also be considered
- 5 to 10 years of experience as engineering project manager
- Experience in related sectors will be an advantage: Fine Chemicals, Pharma-Chemicals, Biotechnology, Cosmetics, Food
- Ability to understand and manage multi-disciplinary technical projects
- Language: native or superior level in Spanish, medium/high level of English (fluent communication, both spoken and written). Knowledge of German is a plus.
- Proficiency with the Windows Office package
- Experienced user of MS Project for project planning
- Availability to travel (short trips, 2 days a week approx.). Having your own vehicle will be an advantage.
- Ability to integrate into engineering project teams, working autonomously and in a structured manner
