The Bedbank business unit is leading Hotelbeds Group charge to reshape travel. It contracts, connects and efficiently distributes a differentiated portfolio of +100,000 hotels to leading travel trade industry partners including online travel agencies (OTAs), retail agencies, tour operators and airlines. Our main Bedbank brands include Hotelbeds, Bedsonline, Hotelopia, Travel Partner Brasil, Room & Go, JBS and Easymarket.This position sits within our Bedbank unit.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reporting directly to the Commercial Intelligence Director, you will be a key member of the Leadership team, with responsibility for developing and implementing our pricing strategy to optimise revenue and profitability for the company within a high-growth, dynamic, and competitive B2B environment.
You will lead a team to execute the strategy and to continually ensure that our pricing are aligned with creating maximum value for our suppliers and clients, and ultimately to drive bottom line growth for the company across our captive markets and customer segments.
**Responsibilities**:
- Inspire and develop a high performing team to drive business growth
- Define and roll out best practice revenue management processes and methodologies
- Develop a pricing vision in a highly competitive global market context - constantly reviewing and defining new pricing innovation opportunities within a dynamic pricing environment
- Proactive development and implementation of pricing strategy to optimise revenue and profitability for the company
- Future-focus scanning for future pricing opportunities, formulate and implement strategies to address opportunities & risks
**Requirements**:
- Experience in managing and developing people: coaching skills and ability to train, lead and motivate team members
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including a strong attention to detail
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication
- Relevant experience in fast-paced, high-growth organization operating in a B2B environment with exposure to rapidly changing, dynamic pricing scenarios
- Significant exposure to defining pricing strategies across multiple markets / products (ideally airlines, hospitality, e-commerce or similar)
- Strategic thinker who balances long-term vision with short and medium-term priorities
- Degree in Business Administration/Engineering/Mathematics, MBA from a recognized business school desirable
