We are looking for a **Key Account Manager Rare Disease** (zona Norte) who is **entrepreneurial, a team player **and** agile** to join us in our **Rare Disease team**, based in **Spain**.

**About the role**

As a Key Account Manager Rare Disease at UCB, you will aim to enhance the lives of individuals with rare diseases by building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and implementing science-driven commercial strategies. You will excel in brand messaging, targeting, and leveraging digital technology to deliver impactful customer experiences while adhering to ethical standards. With your deep understanding of regional patient journeys and healthcare delivery networks, you will strategically allocate time and resources to raise awareness, facilitate earlier diagnoses, expedite access to effective treatments, and ensure the appropriate use of UCB products.

**Who you’ll work with**

As a Regional Rare Disease Lead, you will engage with physicians, healthcare providers, nurses, hospital pharmacists, and other key stakeholders to support patient care. Internally, you will collaborate with the Rare Disease Leadership Team, Epilepsy Sales Team, Marketing, Market Access teams, Patient Engagement, Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), and Medical Strategy. Your role involves building strong relationships, delivering balanced information on new therapies, and executing strategic business plans to improve patient journeys and access to treatments.

**What you’ll do**
- Advocate for Rare Disease patients and serve as the authority on the various tools and resources UCB offers to support physicians, hospital pharmacists, nurses and other health care providers.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with UCB colleagues to share insights on customer needs and market opportunities.
- Understand territory: stakeholder needs, patient pathways, ecosystem collaborations.
- Execute strategic business plans, understanding territory stakeholders.
- Deliver balanced information on new rare disease therapies.
- Master disease states, patient journeys, care standards, and clinical data.

**I**nterested? For this role we’re looking for the following** **education, experience** **and **skills**
- 5+ years of field-based experience in sales, account management, and/or field reimbursement in biopharmaceuticals (research-driven) within a competitive specialty market segment.
- Curious and results oriented with a scientifically driven mindset, motivated by changing the patient journey for the better.
- Experienced within rare diseases and launches of new solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s Degree with scientific background preferred.
- Ability to propose, manage & execute projects in assigned territory cross-functionally.
- Fluency in Spanish and ideally also in English.
