Smilegate Barcelona is seeking a Senior System Administrator and IT Support to strengthen our internal IT team as we create a new AAA title.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Working from our Barcelona base, you'll deliver remote and onsite support, troubleshooting a range of OS, hardware and software issues.
- Oversee daily management, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure systems, operations, and services.
- IT security, backup & recovery, identity & access management, and endpoint device management.
- You'll spearhead multiple IT projects, innovating new project ideas to enhance current systems.
- Ensure efficient management of IT stock and software licenses.
- Act as the primary contact for new hires, aiding computer deployment and onboarding, both remotely and onsite.
- Proactively identify and alert on potential issues and security risks.
- Provide local and remote user training.
- Maintain local office infrastructure and equipment through regular checks and maintenance.
- Keep internal documentation and HowTo manuals updated.
- Mentor other members of the IT team.

**Role Requirements**:

- Minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer hardware (PC/Servers).
- Proven expertise in networking, including design and implementation (firewall & switch setup).
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows Server setup and configuration, including AD/LDAP, File Servers, DNS, GPO setup, backup, security, etc.
- Experience with Game Development tools: Perforce administration, Jira configuration, service desk, Jenkins/CI servers.
- Excellent team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Fluency in English with clear and effective communication skills.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in VMware administration.
- Familiarity with Fortinet firewalls.
- Experience in JIRA & Confluence administration.
- Passion for the video game industry.
- Coding skills in any scripting language (PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Perl, Groovy).
