At Trust, we are rapidly expanding our B2B team across Europe. You will become part of an enthusiastic and ambitious team and you will be given the opportunity to work closely with this fast-growing sales channel.
In the role of Head of B2B SPAIN you will be responsible for driving the growth of the PC, Mobile and Video Conferencing categories in the B2B channel. You will have ownership of the B2B targets for the country and will provide the monthly and quarterly outlook for the channel. We are therefore looking for someone for developing the strategy, owning the numbers and executing their plan. They will be supported by an EMEA Director of B2B and centralised marketing team. In preparation for this new Unit and growth, Trust has developed a dedicated B2B portfolio separate from the Consumer portfolio,
Given the creation of this new unit, The Head of B2B SPAIN will need to be both highly Strategic and hands on:
- You should be comfortable setting out your strategic plan and account managing the top strategic resellers in the countries and will build long-term partnerships to add value to these Managed Accounts. You will create annual business plans with each partner which lays out the steps for success, tracking and adjusting the plan throughout the year, with quarterly business reviews conducted as a minimum. You will train, motivate and incentivise the Managed Resellers to jointly grow Trust’s B2B sales.
- You will also be the primary liaison between the distributors and Trust to address the Small to Medium Business channel (SMB), which will include channel communications, distribution stocks, sales training, sales incentives, promotions and activities.
This role reports to the IBERIA Country Manager, with a dotted line to the Head of B2B EMEA.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ownership of the SPAIN B2B Strategic business plan and its execution. The SPAIN B2B plan will follow the overall EMEA B2B strategy, and form an important part of the EMEA plan
- Work with B2B Marketing to define the promotions and communications to Managed Accounts and SMB, with a calendar planned out at least one quarter in advance
- Champion the Partner Programme and drive widespread adoption
- Build a pipeline of sales opportunities that will enable the growth targets to be hit consistently
- Successfully close corporate and government tenders from initial contact to sale, including pricing and stock availability
- Maximise the investments made in the channel including discounts, Marketing Development Funds, catalogue contributions and rebates
- Represent Trust at B2B events in the territory and provide input to the business on key trends, opportunities and risks
- Initiate programs to achieve cross selling between our PC, Mobile and Video Conferencing categories, increase average selling prices and increase our in-house share of the categories within each reseller
- Define the strategically important products (SIP) for B2B in the country and ensure the right focus is reflected within the Managed Accounts and SMB
- Looking at managing the strategy between Run rate and Promotional business
**Qualifications**:
- 5+ years’ experience selling in a B2B environment within the IT B2B space.
- Proven ability to significantly ramp up revenue, and a record of delivering sales and profit targets
- Excellent account management skills
- Results driven, confident and engaging
- A strong influencer with a can-do attitude but also a team player
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Exceptional at relationship building with a hunter mindset
- Active person, enjoys developing plans and always looking for new opportunities
- Creative thinker, fast learner and self-motivated
- Business English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
- The role is based in Madrid, Spain and requires travel within the countries
- Experience working with distributors to address the SMBs and also experience working with Corporate resellers. Knowledge of the Audio / Videoconferencing distribution and resellers business is clearly a plus.
