Digestive System Research Unit
Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public sector institution, located in Barcelona (Spain) that

oriented towards finding solutions to the health problems of the citizens and has the will to contribute to the
scientific, educational, social and economic development within its area of competence.

VHIR seek a vacancy/vacant position for an Assistant for Clinical Trials within the Group of Physiology and
Pathophysiology of the Digestive Tract, area of inflammatory bowel disease.

Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Degree in Medicine, specialty in Gastroenterology
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level)

Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- Experience in clinical and preclinical research activities
- Experience in clinical monitoring of biological treatment in IBD
- Experience with data acquisition software (IBD management program®)
- Strong sense of responsibility, initiative and self-motivation
- Ability to work independently and as a team

Desired:
- Knowledge of databases, statistical analysis
- Accredited experience in clinical trials is desirable

Main responsibilities and duties:
- Coordinate/Manage clinical trials
- Give support in extraction and processing of samples
- Collaborate with data analysis
- Proactive, dynamic and outstanding organizational skills are required

Labour conditions:
- Part-time position, 40 hours/week
- Gross annual salary 22.823,22
- Contract length: 12 months
- Permanent contract
