We are embarking on an ambitious journey to help a leading Customer Experience (CX) global company. Our team is centered on the design and deployment of state-of-the-art AI solutions. Leveraging advancements in Large Language Models like GPT, Claude, Gemini, Mixtral, LlaMA and other STT and TTS models like ElevenLabs or Deepgram. This initiative stands at the vanguard of revolutionizing how our client interacts with their customers.

**About you**

As the Engineering Manager, you will expand, lead, and align the engineering team with the visions of M47 Labs and our client. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the team, manage AI-powered products, maintain client relationships, and handle stakeholder presentations. Your primary responsibility is not to execute tasks individually, but rather to create a favorable environment that enhances the execution process and boosts efficiency over time. Engineers from two product squads— including AI Engineers, Back-End, and Front-End developers, totaling approximately 12 people— will report directly to you. Additionally, you will be responsible for defining a detailed roadmap for the product at the MVP stage, outlining specific early development milestones.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the engineering team to make decisions regarding AI/ML infrastructure, architecture, and scalability. Making decisions on choosing 3rd party providers, building and supporting relationships with them.
- Define a detailed roadmap for the product at the MVP stage, outlining specific early development milestones.
- Engage in ongoing research to remain at the forefront of new technologies and industry trends, bringing innovative ideas and insights back to the team to propel innovation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, converting these into technical requirements and actionable solutions.
- Lead and nurture the squads, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can bring their full and authentic self to work, optimizing their productivity and satisfaction.
- Mentor team members at various stages of their careers, aiding them in developing the skills necessary to meet their professional goals and align with business needs.
- Provide constructive feedback to direct reports to enhance their performance and promote a culture of high morale across the organization through exemplary behavior.

**What you'll need**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in a leadership role with a strong background in AI.
- Experience in Product Development.
- Excellent management skills, with a knack for solving complex problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team while contributing technically to projects.
- Business sense, entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.

**What's nice to have**:

- Familiarity with AWS,.NET Core (C#), Vue.js and Python.
