JOB SUMMARY
The Marketing Sr Manager supports the Product Management Director in the development and delivery of tools and assets that support sales conversations throughout the sales cycle. This position requires a mix of interpersonal, project management, and communications skills in addition to an understanding of marketing principles, sales methodology, and content management. The job requires understanding and usage of process, procedures, and systems that will continuously improve sales and marketing efficiency and effectiveness. The Marketing Sr Manager supports the Marketing Director, along with the business leaders, in the development and implementation of a global marketing strategy for the company, with the goal of increasing overall marketplace recognition globally, and driving demand for the companies’ solutions that result in qualified leads, and revenue growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help develop innovative methods to bring sales content to life for internal sales teams, including training and incentive programs
- Identify opportunities for improvement, develop recommendations and convert recommendations into increases in sales effectiveness
- Develop overall program strategy, budgets, resource allocation plans, and general program requirements to ensure successful execution of sales enablement initiatives and programs
- Report on program progress, escalations, and issue analysis for Marketing Director and other stakeholders
- Implement the company’s go-to-market messaging, positioning, and strategy through the delivery of an integrated marketing strategy and implementation of plan
- Facilitate the corporate branding initiative, assist in defining the global brand strategy, brand system, communications framework/platform, and brand guidelines are a critical responsibility of this function by leveraging social networking

- Maintain the content strategy platform, including vision, category, audience, value, differentiation, personality and police the brand
- Execute on a complete global integrated marketing communications plan and manage to budget
- Build and manage a global marketing communications function that supports Company’s goal of global industry leadership
- Manage team of marcom professionals and network of outside vendors (as needed) to support our global communications effort
- Monitor and measure results of marketing programs
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Provide decision maker reporting on effectiveness and quality of past efforts and solicit feedback for future actions. Utilize the acquired feedback to develop recommendations and provide input in the budgeting and planning process
- Develop strong working knowledge of the company’s business to provide insights to sector trends and client issues
- Provide guidance and marketing support to sales and marketing team leadership
- Collaborate with distributed global marketing and the global consulting team to effectively execute marketing programs in each key geography
- Ability to lead and manage variety of programs and projects
- Project management experience
- Portfolio of experience should include managing external agencies and internal resources to achieve success in these areas (Brand Development, Brand Awareness, Web Strategy (SEO, SEM),content management including web, print and on-demand collateral, E-communications programs, product and solution launch programs; public, media and analyst relations; thought leadership; company image and product visibility; strategic thinking and tactical excellence; events and conferences; and third party, user groups, etc.
- Must understand the balance between global direction and local execution and how to make things happen with executives, team members and agencies in multiple locations around the world
