Waterplan is a fast-growing startup in the Climate Tech space that develops a B2B Enterprise SaaS platform for companies to measure, respond, report and monitor companies´ increasingly changing water risk.
By showing companies the business case for mitigating water risk, Waterplan accelerates their transition to a world where companies are incentivised to save more water, abate the discharge of polluting effluents, conserve watersheds and preserve shared value.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a **Water Expert specializing in VWB and Natural Capital assessments** to join the Product team at Waterplan.
You will be working in a fully remote distributed team across multiple disciplines at a science-oriented company. We are a dedicated and talented team and have ambitious growth targets planned for the next few years.

**About your core focus**
We are looking for a Water Expert who wants to be part of a fast-growing company and a brilliant ambitious team.
As a **Water Expert specializing in VWB and Natural Capital assessments**, you will be managing the relationship with some of our main customers. This will include:
- Focus on identifying the impact of activities of different types, in order to achieve the volumetric objectives of our clients, using frameworks such as Volumetric Water Benefit Accounting. Focus on activities such as land conservation, reforestation, sustainable agriculture, access to water and sanitation, etc.
- Explain our clients the impact of those activities using a science-based approach taking into account Waterplan’s platform
- Ensure that the process is carried out in a timely manner, seeking to maintain an adequate flow of communication, preparing meetings with clients, etc.
- Create reports considering the state of the basin, stakeholders and risks, ideally quantifying them in business terms for the client
**What we're looking for**
- Proficient in English
- 10+ years of strong performance in the water industry
- Experience working with nature-based solutions
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated and a proactive team player with ability to self-manage
- A good listener: able to hear and understand the customer need and the different perspectives of relevant stakeholders
- A good communicator: above anything, able to put technical words into simple terms
- Quickly build trusting relationships with customers at all levels of the organization
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment with a goal oriented approach
- Experience in Enterprise - B2B SaaS product companies is a plus
- Previous experience in the Climate-Tech space is a plus.
