**Job Purpose**
The Crew Scheduling Optimization Analyst is responsible of the development and improvement of the Roster optimization software and environments, models and KPIs.
The Analyst will act as a bridge between Manpower and Crew Rostering Teams, and between Business and IT internal and external providers, with an active role in testing and developing rules, penalties, automations, metrics, and models focused on the Crew Scheduling Optimization processes.
**Main Responsibilities - Tasks**
- Crew Software Systems Integration Implementation and Development coordination (Jeppesen Pairing
- Jeppesen Rostering-AIMS).
- Pre-Production Release optimization tests and validation of Manpower assumptions, ensuring all safety, cost, legal compliance & quality requirements are met.
- Monitor and analyze crew roster throughout its evolution through the Crew Supply Chain (pre and post roster publication) and take a data driven approach to ensure the rosters produced by the Rostering Optimizer have the best balance between covered flights, FRMS principals, fatigue and lifestyle feedback from crew and operational robustness.
- Developing models, tools and software to automate, optimize and improve new or existing processes within the Rostering department to achieve the best possible output of the Optimization stage.
- Liaise with external providers prior to the optimization stage of the roster build to ensure the input parameters are correct and will produce the best output.
- Liaise with various stakeholders in the roster from outside of the team, evaluating the implications of changes to establishment levels and labor agreements have on the rosters.
- Undertake ad hoc analysis with a view to identify ways to improve the rosters and rostering process and provide cost impact analysis into business decisions.
**Education**
- Preferred: Degree in Engineering, Economics, Math, Bachelor or Similar.
**Experience**
- Experience in Airline’s Rostering or Airline’s Scheduling or Operations roles.
- Experience with Crew Management Software’s AIMS, Jeppesen or similar.
**Competencies**
- High analytics and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility and capability of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Optimization problems and proved data-analyst experience.
**Languages**
**Other**
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Desired knowledge of Rostering Optimization Processes and Crew Management Softwares (Jeppesen, AIMS or similar).
