**Job Purpose**
Responsible for implementing Revenue Management systems within the Vueling Commercial department. Support Inventory and Pricing teams, with continuous research and implementation of transformation projects, identifying revenue opportunities and automation of manual processes.
**Main Responsibilities - Tasks**
- Gathering requirements from the business stakeholders, conceptualizing solution to the problems, and executing the project management cycle.
- Achieving higher automation for the Revenue Management processes.
- Leading innovation through creativity and analytical excellence.
- Providing support to other teams through tools, reports and processes optimization.
- Responsible for ensuring day-to-day proper functioning of all the Revenue Management systems.
**Main Relationships**
This role will offer great exposure to a wide variety of departments and senior staff within the airline, and an unrivalled opportunity to learn from each of them.
You will be in direct contact on a day-to-day basis with the different Commercial team members at all levels and will closely collaborate with other teams throughout the organization in all different areas depending on the project in scope (Data, IT, Strategy, Scheduling, Network and Operations).
**Education**
- University Degree: Engineering (Aerospace is preferable), Computer Sciences, Economics, Physics, Math or a Scientific degree.
**Experience**
- Commercial/Sales Research/Revenue Management systems 2+ Years.
- Strong experience liaising with IT on bug fixes and systems developments.
- Experience in Airline reservation systems, preferably Navitaire, is a plus.
**Competencies**
- Comfortable with IT systems and technologies.
- Must have a proven track record of effective stakeholder management and project management skills.
- Ability to use data query (SQL) tools and to construct advanced analytics using Python.
- Experience with end users BI Tools is preferable: Alteryx, Tableau, Business objects, MicroStrategy or other equivalent tools.
- Strong analytic capabilities, capability to build and use data to guide decision making.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to inspire and guide transversal teams to work towards a common goal.
