**Job Description Summary**: The Finance Intern will be an integral part of the Services ITR team in Gas Power Europe supporting the data management and reporting of the business Financial KPIs through standard work and lean initiatives.

The individual will be a key stakeholder in bringing together an accurate and relevant regional view of the portfolio to enable management to drive opportunities and mitigate risk to our P&L. The individual will gain a valuable insight into the operation of a successful business, having responsibility in a range of areas in both FP&A and the clusters. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will provide an excellent start into a career in finance.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Prepare, distribute and consolidate the templates for our weekly pacing as well as support Sonic's use and improvement.
- Analyze Global Thread’s pacing base case, align with regional and global team on key drivers, provide detailed explanations.
- Prepare soft close analysis on a monthly basis, coordinate findings with regional team in order to identify opportunities and mitigate risks within the quarter.
- Prepare ledger reports for financial soft close and quarter close as well as perform analysis on various topics such as FX and Cost of Poor Quality.
- Support system architecture by proactively managing FP&A approvals on DRM and contributing to other ledger lean initiatives.
- Support the preparation and consolidation of our quarterly country reviews as well as prepare the actuals database to enable consistent financial reporting across the region.
- Identify areas for data quality improvement and help to resolve data quality problems through the detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
- Identify LEAN projects to drive standard work and continuous improvement of analytics through automation.
- Support local finance team in audits, closing and account reconciliation process.

**Required Qualifications**
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, with good written and oral presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Teams, is highly desirable.
- Prior experience working with Tableau, Oracle and SAP ERPs is desirable.
- Background in accountancy is preferred.
- Possession of the necessary work/residency permits for working in the European Union.
