BASIC FUNCTION
This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial transactional processing (Accounts Receivable and Payable), working closely with the finance team. The intern will support the team in ensuring accurate and timely handling of financial processes, while also gaining exposure to different areas of finance within GANT.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Assist in the processing of financial documents, including customer invoices and inbound payments in SAP.
- Support the Accounts Receivable team in managing the first line of collections (reminders, statements).
- Assist with queries regarding invoices and payments from customers and partners.
- Collaborate in the reconciliation and accruals processes.
- Help with month-end closing activities according to the communicated schedule.
- Learn and support systems integrations and financial processes across the department.
PREREQUISITES
- Knowledge Requirements: Basic understanding of accounting; strong Excel skills; interest in finance transactional processing.
- Education: Currently pursuing a University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Languages: English B2/C1 (additional languages are a plus).
- Personal Characteristics: curiosity, a proactive attitude, structured work approach, team player, and good problem-solving skills.
