We're looking for a **Financial Accountant (Associate) **to join the team in** Madrid or Barcelona**

Our finance team is made up of various functions involved in the management of financial resources. Our finance teams are crucial in our growth, making sure that all assets are managed optimally while developing systems to ensure effective financial management to keep us growing at Getir speed

**What You'll Be Doing**
- Perform general ledger accounting to ensure accurate booking
- Involve in month-end and year-end closing
- Record and review fixed asset registration
- Monitor and report on accounting inconsistencies
- Keep up-to-date with financial policies, practices, and regulations
- Reconcile B/S P/L accounts and track costs
- Assist in statutory audit, internal audit and tax audit

**What You'll Bring**
- Academic degree in finance, accounting or similar
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in accounting
- Knowledge in Excel mandatory, familiarity with SAP is preferred
- Strong knowledge of local GAAP, SOX/internal controls
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
- Team work plus good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle tight deadlines
- Advance/Native Spanish and at least B2-C1 level of English
