Product and Business Operations Manager

- Ensures operational excellence, continuous efficiency improvements and strict compliance with relevant Global and Regional BD and Portfolio processes across all Regional and local BD&L deal making activities.**Your key responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure regional and local BD deal activities are planned, managed and executed in strict compliance with all relevant procedures and guidelines by providing consistent and appropriate level of training, guidance, support and oversight to regional and local BD staff.
- Facilitate efficient progress of regional and local BD projects through governance via close collaboration with all relevant “gate-keeper” functions, including but not limited to Global BD, Global and Regional Portfolio, IP, Due Diligence, ESO, Procurement, TPRM, etc. from project initiation through to signature and closing.
- Organize & operationalize regular governance and other recurring and ad-hoc team meetings, managing agenda setting, facilitating timely high-quality content submission, post-meeting follow-up and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure continuous and consistent data accuracy and completeness of regional and local BD project records in BD project management digital systems (SANITY) to ensure transparency of BD activities, oversight, and reliable high-quality data analytics.
- Drive continuous process improvement and efficiency gains, by monitoring established KPIs for Portfolio and BD activities, generating insights on potential areas of improvements, and facilitating adoption of innovative data & digital tools and best-practice sharing.
- Support development, implementation and continuous improvement of processes, standard operating procedures, manuals and guides, providing relevant training, guidance and support to regional and country teams to instill efficiency and ensure compliance with established guidelines and processes.

**Minimum requirements**

**What you’ll bring to the role**:
Essential:
- Education - MSc with background in Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration or Life Sciences. MBA or PhD desirable.
- Languages: Full professional proficiency in English - required; Spanish, German - preferable; other regional languages desirable (e.g. Portuguese, Japanese, Arabic)
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in admin, project management or data analytics roles.
- Experience in process development, operations, and data management desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Financial literacy, ability to interpret and draw insights from financial statements and KPIs
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects and delivering results in a timely manner in complex multi-national organizations
- Advanced user of data analytics and automation software
