Activision Blizzard King plays a centralized role in the creation of epic entertainment by supporting our interactive gaming brands and studios, we encompass equal parts agility, creativity and rigor to enhance the employee and player experience.
As a Senior Director, Compensation, you will work closely with the US Compensation team, the Head of Total Rewards and the Benefits team to help design and deliver compensation and reward programmes to the international market.
Additional areas of responsibility will be to:
- Help budget, plan and deliver the annual salary review, bonus plans and annual equity cycle globally.
- Partner and communicate with the regional leadership teams to ensure they are briefed on Compensation programs and key initiatives.
- Be an expert in local market compliance and governance (E.g. equal pay requirements and reporting, regulatory reporting). A basic tax knowledge of the UK, Spain and Sweden is a plus.
- Have a good working knowledge of US equity plans and Restricted Share Units and be able to translate technical language in layman’s terms to employees.
- Own the King Profit Share Plan (PSP) from modelling projections with King finance, through quarterly meeting with Activision finance, to planning and payment with the local King business.
- Evaluate market and economic trends to recommend adjustments to salary ranges, geographic differentials, salary increase and promotion budgets, in addition to maintaining compensation infrastructure
- Assemble and submit regional materials to the quarterly Activision Compensation Committee.
**Player Profile requirements**:
- Extensive relevant experience in Compensation, experience working with an International, US headquartered business would be a plus.
- Highly organized with a demonstrated track record of delivering high
- quality results in a fast
- paced, complex, dynamic business environment.
- Proactive and results
- oriented individual with a high commitment to quality and driving results while managing multiple, and at times, competing priorities.
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build relationships and partner effectively. Stakeholder management is essential.
- Experience in Executive management, negotiation and executive compensation is a plus.
- A strong commercial, financial and business knowledge of the Company and industry.
- Resilient in the face of change with the ability to pivot, adapt, and perform in a rapidly changing environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint required. Knowledge of Workday is a bonus.
