We are looking for a Business Development Director within our Media domain at the our office in Madrid

Key Accountability:
- Develops the commercial plan alongside the relevant domain lead. Agrees on priority opportunities in SML term, as well as looking for cross-domain opportunities.
- Works closely with other domains to meet domain new business target.
- Prioritizes client opportunities around identified major growth. De-prioritises low-potential opportunities. Ensures a collaborative approach with clients who are common targets for different domains.
- Manages extensive list of client contacts, developing opportunities both alone and with support of the relevant team members and the wider Kantar business.
- Generates extensive pipeline of new client opportunities.
- Works with domains to develop relevant domain expertise: the right level of expertise to identify commercial opportunities.
- Works closely with domain teams to maximize win rates for domain, in line with commercial best practice and profit.
- Develops strong relationships and collaborates meaningfully across Kantar, relevant to their objectives and priorities
- Builds strong relationships with our client, commercial and domain leads.
- Demonstrates our core values and behaviours.
Role Requirements:
- Adapt at executing a strategy around a specific business outcome. Strong record of strategic commercial outcomes
- Highly commercial, with extensive experience of success across the sales funnel.
- Deep client development experience, including generating and managing individual pipeline and commercial management.
- A dynamic commercial director, visible within relevant areas in the business to build energy and consensus around key offer areas.
- Combines energy, clarity and a winning mentality to business development, with a specialist knowledge of the BRAND/MEDIA landscape.
- Able to engage a range of client archetypes and industries and surface business development opportunities.
- An effective networker, building relationships essential to winning work.
- Bachelor's degree or higher required.
- Native Spanish with fluency in written and spoken English.
