As a Financial Crime Analyst at Dandelion Payments, you will play a critical role in detecting and preventing financial crimes, including money laundering, fraud, and other illicit activities. You will work closely with the Financial Crime Controls team and utilize your analytical skills to investigate and analyze transaction data, identify suspicious patterns, and contribute to the development and enhancement of the company's financial crime prevention measures. Your work will help protect Dandelion Payments and its customers from potential risks and uphold compliance with regulatory standards.
**Responsibilities**:
- Monitor payment transactions and customer data to detect and investigate potential financial crime risks and anomalies.
- Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to identify suspicious patterns and behaviors for further review.
- Conduct in-depth investigations into flagged transactions and accounts to determine the legitimacy of activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Compliance Officer, to ensure appropriate actions are taken.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation on suspicious activities and investigation findings.
- Maintain accurate records of investigations and actions taken for compliance and audit purposes.
- Assist in conducting risk assessments for various payment types to identify potential areas of vulnerability and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of transaction monitoring and financial crime prevention processes.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance existing detection mechanisms and controls.
- Provide valuable data insights to support the team lead and senior management in decision-making and strategy development.
- Assist in preparing presentations and reports to communicate key findings to stakeholders.

You have experience:
- Experience of working with global teams.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in FinCrime
- Strong knowledge and experience of FinCrime typologies
