The Strategic Accounts Department within J&J MedTech Spain is recruiting for a Strategic Accounts Manager, to be located within the designated region for this position.
The Strategic Accounts Manager (SAM) will serve as the point person and lead voice for J&J MedTech (JJMT) for the area’s assigned accounts. He/she will develop the overall strategy and direction, as well as overseeing end-to-end delivery.
The SAM will have full ownership and accountability for achieving business plan objectives of revenue growth, price erosion and access to J&J MD businesses. He/She will establish Johnson & Johnson as the “partner of choice” with key health systems by developing and executing end-to-end customer insight-driven solutions (both organically and through external partnerships) aimed at helping health care providers reduce costs, improve outcomes, and advance patient satisfaction.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Directly responsible for MT strategy that drives MT long term sales and share growth, market penetration and overall profitability.
- Responsible for the development of the account joint business / value plan and the overall account strategy to address both JJMT and customer’s long-term goals.
- Aligns internal commercial and support resources to address customer needs, ensure successful integration and adoption of selected solutions to targeted customers and facilitate appropriate internal and external relationships.
- Develops sustainable strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the account as a single point of contact to maximize effectiveness in driving short and long-term account growth and meaningful partnerships.
- Builds insights on customer strategic needs and delivers applicable capabilities to address customer needs across JJMD.
- Actively negotiates to mutually advantageous end-to-end solutions that deliver enhanced access and accelerated growth
- Co-Responsible for tender/contract shaping and management
- Lead a collaborative process in partnership with account teams across the FSO and SCG organization, achieving superior results by demonstrating a cross-franchise mindset with all business interactions.
- Establish sustainable relationships with hospital and healthcare executives, key economic decision makers & strategic partners that enables transformation of the current commercial model by creating joint value that results in the ongoing reduction of costs, continuous process improvement, growth and profitability for both partners
- Lead engagement and collaboration with field sales, marketing, finance & enterprise counterparts as appropriate to ensure that plans are aligned with broader organization, sector & enterprise goals. Key leader and customer advocate working closely with Sales Leads & Managers to facilitate execution.
**Qualifications**
QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent required
- Advanced degree preferred
- 10 years of experience in sales management or strategic accounts required
- Customer and Enterprise Leadership experience preferred
- Experience with joint value creation and customer solutions preferred
- Strong negotiation skills required
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with financial acumen and analytics
- Digital Acumen required
- Healthcare market knowledge preferred
- Public Procurement knowledge preferred
- Experience in highly regulated industry preferred
- Relevant product knowledge preferred
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Superior ability to collaborate with peers, leaders and senior executives
- Superior ability to navigate the organization and decision-making processes
- Outstanding ability to toggle between big picture and attention to detail required
- Spanish and English language: high level
