Exhibition Director

**Job Summary**:
The Exhibition Director is responsible for the overall strategic planning, management, and execution of exhibitions and related events. This role involves overseeing event concepts, ensuring revenue growth, managing teams, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients. The Exhibition Director ensures that each event meets its commercial targets and delivers exceptional value to exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Strategic Planning & Event Development**
- Develop and implement the overall strategy for exhibitions and events.
- Identify new market opportunities and potential event themes or sectors.
- Set clear financial and operational objectives for each event.
**2. Team Leadership & Management**
- Lead, mentor, and manage the exhibition team, including sales, marketing, operations, and delegate acquisition.
- Allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure targets are achieved.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
**3. Sales & Business Development**
- Drive exhibitor and sponsorship sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry associations.
- Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities.
**4. Marketing & Promotion**
- Oversee event marketing campaigns to ensure strong brand visibility and audience engagement.
- Work with the marketing team to plan and execute digital, PR, and partnership strategies.
- Monitor and analyze event performance metrics and marketing ROI.
**5. Operations & Delivery**
- Oversee event logistics, budgeting, and production in coordination with the operations team.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Review post-event reports and implement improvements for future editions.
**6. Stakeholder Engagement**
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government bodies, sponsors, media partners, and industry associations.
- Represent the organization at networking events, industry forums, and international exhibitions.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Events Management, or a related field.
- Minimum **10 years of experience** in exhibition or event management.
- Strong commercial acumen and proven track record in achieving revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of regional and international exhibition markets is an advantage.
