We are looking for a strategic, hands-on **Head of BI** to lead our Business Intelligence function and help us scale with data-driven clarity. You will be responsible for building and managing a team of BI Analysts, developing high-impact insights and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to drive growth across the business. This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives on turning complexity into clear actions and using data to answer the questions that matter.
**What you'll do**:
- Take full ownership of the BI function, defining the roadmap, priorities and processes.
- Deliver actionable insights to drive smarter decisions around user acquisition, funnel performance, product and revenue.
- Work closely with leadership to define KPIs, build forecasting models and track progress against targets.
- Analyze end-to-end user funnels to identify conversion bottlenecks and growth opportunities.
- Continuously answer critical business questions, such as:
- Where should we invest more or stop investing?
- If forecasts are off, which KPI is causing the gap?
- What’s the biggest missed opportunity?
- How can we maximize our overall profitability?
- Partner with marketing, product and finance to optimize spend allocation, campaign performance and pricing strategy.
- Drive the adoption of self-serve analytics through effective dashboards and tooling.
- Champion data quality by collaborating with data engineering to ensure reliable data pipelines.
- Build, grow and mentor a high-performing team of BI Analysts across key business functions (when applicable).
**Experience we're looking for**:
- 6+ years of experience in BI, analytics or data strategy, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in subscription-based or recurring revenue business models.
- Strong hands-on skills with SQL and BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau).
- Solid understanding of forecasting models, cohort analysis, LTV, CPA, churn and other core subscription metrics.
- Experience building and leading high-impact analytics teams.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to turn data into strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
