Overview:
Global Alumni Relations aims to accompany our alumni worldwide along their different life stages, providing relevant services to maximize their networking opportunities, career progression and lifelong learning. We understand that an IE student´s journey does not end at graduation and our IE Alumni are considered an integral part of our family, with a suite of benefits and engagement activities available at their disposal, for life. To deliver these various activities and resources, we foster connections between staff, faculty, students, alumni, and external partners.

The Associate Director of Undergraduate Alumni Engagement is responsible for developing and implementing an engagement strategy for Undergraduate Alumni and Students at IE University. The Undergraduate engagement strategy will include targeted initiatives, events and communications, many times involving trial & error of new formats, leveraging existing activities, and gaining insights about the Undergraduate segments´ needs and interests. This role reports into the Deputy Head of Alumni Engagement & Programs and works in close collaboration with the Director of Alumni Marketing and Communications.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Engagement Strategy and Planning**:

- Develop an engagement plan and calendar specific to the Undergraduate Segment across the following key strategic pillars (events/networking, career development, continuous learning, and volunteer opportunities) in close coordination with key stakeholders to build strong relationships across IE as the point person for undergrad alumni.
- Identify synergies with existing engagement initiatives for the broader alumni network, in collaboration with the rest of the Global Alumni Relations department.
- **
Events/Initiatives Management**:

- Define and host engagement events for the IE Undergraduate alumni, both face-to-face and digital formats.
- Continue building brand recognition of the “Grads Give Back” events and devise new engagement strategies for maximizing the event communication prior and afterwards.
- Increase awareness around Alumni Relations services and benefits available to undergrads during and after their program.
- Collaborate across Program Teams of each school, International Offices and Alumni Relations to update alumni data through communication campaigns and with support from student/alumni volunteers.
- Devise metrics to measure communication efforts, alumni satisfaction, engagement and identify areas of improvement.
- Benchmark and identify best practices to evaluate and implement as needed.

Communications**:

- Deliver, in close collaboration with the Director of Alumni Marketing & Communications, the annual communication plan and strategy,
- ensuring a multi-channel approach
- defining agency briefs for creativities and/or digital content
- Define, create, and deliver the Undergraduate Newsletter

Qualifications:

- Master’s Degree from a top school.
- 2-3 years of experience in Customer Management.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural context and interact with a wide variety of stakeholders and at different levels of the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across a broad stakeholder map.
- Self-starter, capable of launching and leading new initiatives, balancing multiple projects with the Global Alumni Relations team.
- Proficient Microsoft user + Dynamics 365 CRM desired.
- Structured communicator, effective at balancing priorities across stakeholders.
- Great attention to detail.
- Fluency in Spanish and English-language written and spoken.
- Reliability and the ability to work independently.
